hey 'yall i bought a set of golden horizons shocks that i think that are discontinued because i can't find anything about them online at all. but thats not the point they are piggy back shocks and i filled them with 15wt oil and they are extremely stiff so much in fat when i drop the truck from about 2 ft. it doesn't even compress them and it bounces like crazy. is it the way i'm filling them or what i'm only filling them to the top of the body if thats not right then what is right? any info will help

How many holes are in the shock pistons? Did they come with any different pistons?

nope no different pistons and the holes in them are tiny. i would buy new ones with bigger holes but they dont make the shocks anymore

Ream the holes out with an exacto or reamer. That may help. Disasemble the whole shock and role the shaft on a flat surface, that may be whats bent, Try the shock with no fluid too, that may be a sign of the body or shaft haveing deformations in them.
