I was windering if anyone has any experience with this. I was thinking about getting involved with a winter project involving either a T-maxx or a Savage. I actually wanted to see how powerful i could make a monster truck. I was on the RB Innovations web site and found they had superchargers and nitrous systems. they have applications for twin engines set up. Anyone have any experience with those products? I was thinking twin race spec engines, twin superchargers, and nitrous on each engine. My rational for this froject is to explore the extreme upper limits of power for a monster truck. Is this Possible, am I starting in the wrong direction here? I know i would have to build the shit out of the drive train. and I know it will be buku dollars. The question i really wanted to ask was who sells twin engine conversion kits? any help on that would be greatly appreciated. I would like to hear any comments on this project. Thanks

Read the forums on Savage central. Most owners have negative things to say about the super chargers. I myself have never done it to mine. Most say your just wasting $$$.

There has been a twin supercharged monster made already. That was several years ago. I would say it would not be worth the effort & tons of $$$. It's your plan & I don't want to discourage you if your into building as I am too. Sometimes the journey is what it's all about ! Good luck

I had also the same idea , For the winter trick out one of my T-maxx... It has in it a OS. 21 , I was tried to find a good price on that rb supercharger from EBAY, but here my little twist I was going to buy the third gear setup from 2coolrc.com .

This is the link for the twin conversion kit. I have never had an RB charger or nitrous personally, but everyone I have talked to said they are a waist of money. Even the guys at the hobby shop who sell them. If it is looks and sound you are going for, and money is not object, then go for it. If it is power than get a twin conversion kit with high quality big blocks, or maybe two O.S. 21 V-specs? If it is top speed, you may want to look at electric.

Good luck on your project. One thing that seems to get overlooked no matter what scale is power is the easy thing to get, getting that new power through a clutch, tranny, differential(s), driveshafts and axles to the ground can be the downfall of a project. Don't forget that while planning your project. Power that shreds any or all of those parts is no fun.

I remember one of the ads for rb innovations, it had a savage with dual engines and dual superchargers and every aluminum part inmaginable it was cool. I saw a review on the silver bullet nitrous and they said it was good.

Just remember, where ever you read that review, they may be getting money from the manufacturer.
