Hey,
The mini baja is probably the best because it comes with a bug body, faster motor, and paddle tires--with the stock tires too. You should also check out the Team Associated rc18 series, they are all 4-wheel drive instead of 2, also come with oil-filled shocks instead of those terrible air shocks.. and come in a buggy, race truck, or monster truck. I have one myself and love it! Only thing i'd recommend is steel diff and input gears. cheers,

My choice is the RC18 series as well. They are a bit more durable & the 4 wheels drive is very nice. The Losi mini-LST series are also 4 wheel drive. The double motor set-up is kinda strange to me. I have 3 RC18's and a Mini-LST. The only 2wd I have right now is a Losi Slider. It's a blast to play with. We race RC18's & Sliders on a carpet track. Here is a practice vid.
The full bodied cars are RC18's with latemodel bodies.

You get alot for the money IMO , and with Tower and A Main having parts support there shouldnt be a problem getting parts once they get their inventory built up .
You can also order parts from Trinity direct .

Definitely look at the Vendetta ST. Super durable and the truck is amazingly fast out of the box. Just get the 20 dollar upgrade 1200 mah battery from duratrax. By far the best mini that I've raced!

All of the vehicles mentioned above are great in their own way. For 4wd the RC18B is my favorite. For 2wd I prefer the Tamiya Tamtechs. They are the most durable of all the minis I have owned, and the tranny is bullet proof. You can put all the power you want to it without worry of stripping gears or burning up diffs.
