iv thought about putting the parma baja bug body on my XXXT. which is really more of a trophy truck with a baja body. that's not what i want and not the type of vehicle i want to build. a class 5 is slower, has less suspension travel, doesn't handle as well, and takes a little more finesse to drive than a trophy truck. in RC terms its not something you huck off a skateboard ramp, or clear the triples with.
really all it would take to make a sand scorcher into modern day class 5 is 3x3 trailing arms, a widened beam, a little more suspension travel, and maybe a few beefed up parts in the steering area.
