RC Demonstration Wows
the
Crowd at
SPEED’s
“PINKS
All Out”
RC Driver and
CEN Racing
brought the live
audience for SPEED’s
“PINKS All Out” to its feet
with an RC nitro monster
truck and buggy demon-
stration and 1/10th-scale
sedan drag race at Maryland
International Raceway on
Saturday, June 9. As the
stands filled with spectators
anticipating a dramatic evening
of full-scale killer hot rods facing
off in “All Out” competition for
a $10,000 purse, the RC Driver
and CEN crew hit the drag strip
to launch a fleet of nitro buggies
and monster trucks in a freestyle
jump and trick driving display that
drew howls of approval from the crowd.
The action turned serious when two young “PINKS” fans selected from the audience took the controls of a couple of specially prepared CEN CT-5 and CT-4 sedans for a competition based on “PINKS,” SPEED’s hit television show and the inspiration for “PINKS All Out.
The winner of the RC race would take home both RC vehicles! CEN drivers Erik Johnson and Joshua Pease each acted as a pit crew for the drivers and assisted pre-race negotiations with SPEED’s announcer.
