Racer or basher, we all face the common problem of where to put/keep the tools necessary for the enjoyment of our nitro-powered cars and trucks. Over the years I’ve seen everything from canvas tool pouches to leather tool belts used for this purpose. I’ve even seen some folks use a simple cardboard box. In an effort to bring a bit of style and organization to our enjoyment of our vehicles, the folks at DuBro have introduced the Pit Stop—a very nice place to put these items so they can be conveniently carried to the pit area of the race track, or to your favorite bashing spot.
The Pit Stop is quickly assembled, and the model shown here even has a provision to hang an electric starter unit such as those from Sportwerks and Traxxas. Other features include a large 800cc fuel bottle, glow starter caddy, a glow plug driver, a Kwik Stop engine shutoff, and a nice tuning screwdriver. Pretty much everything that you would need to get your nitro vehicle tuned and serviced in the pits. The Pit Stop also has provisions for a couple of spare glow plugs to be stored in its base. The little touches are appreciated, and the folks at DuBro pretty much have all the bases covered. The nice feature is that all of these items attach and become a part of the Pit Stop—a place for everything and everything in its place!
