Show us why we should turn you RC ride from weak to sleek and you could win free vehicle makeover from RC Driver!
• Make a video asking RC Driver to “Revive My Ride” (see tips and official rules below)
• Post your video on YouTube
• Email the URL to revivemyride@rcdriver.com along with your name, address and phone number
Greg and Bob will choose one vehicle for a full overhaul at our office. The upgraded vehicle will be returned to its owner about four to six weeks later. The winning video will be featured on RC Driver’s website and an article on the makeover will appear in the magazine. Three runner-ups will receive an RC Driver gift pack.

Tips
Video should be no more than 3 minutes long. Be informative and creative. Don’t do anything destructive, disrespectful, dangerous, or illegal.
You must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 13 years old to enter. Parent/guardian permission is required if you are under age 18. By entering, you agree to abide by the complete contest rules below.
Official Rules
1. No purchase necessary. To enter the contest, entrants must post a video on YouTube describing their RC vehicle and requesting a makeover and email the video’s URL to RC Driver at revivemyride@rcdriver.com by 11:59pm PST on January 15, 2009.
2. RC Driver will not be responsible for incomplete, late, or misdirected entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or RC Driver.
3. Contest is only open to US residents with a shipping address that allows for confirmation of delivery.
4. Contest winner and runner-ups must agree that their names, videos and photos submitted for this contest can be used by RC Driver in editorial as well as in promotional and marketing material without further compensation.
5. Entrants must be legal residents of the United States and at least 13 years old to enter. Entrants under the age of 18 must receive permission from their parent or legal guardian in order to participate in this contest.
6. (a)Videos cannot be obscene, defamatory, offensive or unnecessarily violent; (b) Videos cannot involve any activity that is dangerous or destructive to any living thing or that appears unsafe or dangerous; (c) Videos cannot contain copyrighted materials of third parties; (d) Videos must not violate any law, rules or regulations; (e) Videos must be no more than three minutes in length; (f) Videos must not have been previously published, entered in any other competition or contest, and must not violate or infringe the rights of other parties in any manner and (g) Videos must conform to YouTube’s Terms of Service. In the sole discretion of RC Driver, any Video that does not conform to these rules and requirements will be disqualified and ineligible to win the contest.
7. From eligible entrants, one RC vehicle will be selected by RC Driver magazine’s editors as the Winner to receive a full makeover performed by the RC Driver editorial staff. RC Driver’s editors will, at their sole discretion, determine the type and value of parts used on the makeover vehicle and will make such modifications as necessary to complete the makeover. The vehicle will be returned to the Winner within four to six weeks unless a delay in parts availability requires a delay of which the winner with be notified. Vehicle will be returned with all parts and modifications installed and will leave the RC Driver office in working condition. All equipment will be delivered to the Winner without representations or warranties express or implied, other than those, if any, provided by the manufacturer or vendor from whom RC Driver has agreed to acquire the parts. By accepting the prize, Winner releases RC Driver from any responsibility for the maintenance or repair of the vehicle once it has been returned to the Winner’s possession.
8. Three additional entrants will be chosen to receive a makeover starter pack from RC Driver and IMEX RC as described above.
9. There will be no substitution for prizes. Participation in the contest and the prizes awarded are non-transferable. Failure to collect the prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited, another winner will not be selected.
10. Employees and their families of Maplegate Media Group, IMEX RC, and their partners and affiliates are not eligible.
11. General Prize Conditions: All costs, taxes, fees, and expenses associated with a prize or the acceptance and use of any element of a prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the respective winner. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are winner’s responsibility. Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the ARV of the prize. The specifics of all aforementioned elements of any prizes in the Sweepstakes shall be solely determined by RC Driver. Some restrictions may apply. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash. RC Driver reserves the right to substitute any prize, or portions thereof, with a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.
12. Winner’s List: Beginning on or about February 2, 2010 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner, either by going to the contest website (www.rcdriver.com/revivemyride) or mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
