VBC Racing is pleased to introduce their new FF17 front wheel drive touring car. The first VBC FWD was released 3 years ago, and the FF17 is a fresh new look at VBC FWD efforts.
The new car features a long list of new options and designs including:
- Full aluminium gears driver train with aluminium housing gear diff.
- All new steering system with new steering geometry.
- All new shocks for exceptionally smooth operations.
- Designed for transverse or standard battery layout. Suitable for standard or shorty packs.
- 5mm vertical full carbon upper deck for exceptional car handling.
- Full Composite X Silver steering knuckles, c-hubs, front/rear A-arms, rear hubs.
- New chassis design for the vertical upper deck and rear chassis cut out for optional LCG brass weight.
- 100% Carbon fiber chassis, upper deck, front/rear shock towers and floating servo mount.
- All 7075 Aircraft grade aluminium parts.
- Front and rear sway bars included.
Pre-orders are available now, with the car expecting to ship January 15-20, 2017.
I wish somebody made a proper RWD touring car, along with a racing series. If there’s a market for those weird front-wheel drive cars, there ought to be one for cars with a genuinely traditional, true-to-life layout.
