3 Upgrade Ideas Thursday – Traxxas Stampede 4×4 Option Parts

The Traxxas Stampede holds a place in our hearts as being a fun 2WD monster truck that just about any enthusiast at any skill level can drive. But for those with a little experience under their belt, the Traxxas Stampede 4×4 is the logical next step up in off-road fun. The Stampede 4×4 has a proven rugged 4WD drivetrain that can also be found in the Slash 4×4. The brushed power system gives drivers plenty of speed on long stretches and has enough grunt to launch off some aggressive jumps. The weather proof electronics allow it to be driven in all types of environments and it’s tough components can handle lots of abuse. UPGRADE #1

 

MIP X-Duty CVD Driveshafts – If you go and add more power to your Stampede 4×4 and if you haven’t it’s only a matter of time until you do, you’re going to need to make some driveline upgrades. Extra HD Gen 3 Slipper- The stock spur gear on the Stampede 4×4 is plastic and the slipper pads are 3-individual pads to handle all the shock and power going through the driveline. The Robinson Racing Extra HD Gen 3 Slipper is certainly a robust upgrade. The unit consists of a precision machined steel spur gear, a large heavy duty slipper pade ring, new aluminum vented backing place and a heavy duty support bearing.
