Traxxas has outfitted this TRX4 with a lift kit consisting of longer shocks and links along with other parts to give this rig a little over an inch more ground clearance than a standard TRX4. But there’s more tweaks than just a lift to this model. We’ve gathered up a bunch of photos to show you what this truck is all about. This may be one of the best releases yet for the TRX-4 Platform!

AMAZING SCALE BODY
One of the star features of this RTR is the beautifully detailed and licensed Chevrolet Cheyenne K10 Body. The body is availalble in red or black and comes just as you see it from the factory, detailed! There’s loads of chrome accents all over the truck and the light buckets are ready for an LED kit. The biggest feature of the body however is… ready? No body clips! This body uses the undermount clip tabs that key into the fender wells to secure the body!
PROVEN PLATFORM WITH LIFT
The base of the new High Lift Edition is the proven TRX-4 platform. This solid rig has metal frame rails, strong bracing and a centrally mounted batter. The fender wells and floor pans are a nice scale touch. The suspension has been modified here. It now has long travel shocks, longer metal suspension links and an extension on the skid to keep the links properly positioned for handling purposes. The truck is also equipped with 2.2 wheels; chrome mag rims with Canyon tires wrapped around them. You’ll also find the standard rugged TRX4 driveline. Transmission with metal gears, shifting 2-speed, locking differentials in the portal axles and lots of ball bearings. The electronics are items we’ve seen before two. The truck includes a TQi radio system, XL-5 HV ESC, 21 turn Titan 550 motor and 2075X steering servo with a metal horn.
INTENSE OFFROADING POTENTIAL
So what’s the big deal about the new High Lift Edition? Well with the new suspension and wheels, this version of the TRX-4 has a little over 1-inch more ground clearance than a standard TRX-4. That means when you’re out trailing you have the ability to clear more obstacles. Now remember this is a trail crawler so if you’re looking to tackle verticle rocks, the higher CG may not be your friend. But when it’s at home on the trail and low rocky terrain this truck will smoothly navigate the scene while looking good doing it. It’s also going to be a blast for those who like mudding!
