OVERVIEW
This custom carbon fiber “Shorty Pack” chassis is designed specifically for the re-release of the Kyosho Optima Mid 2022 4WD off-road buggy. It allows better layout by putting a shorty 2-cell hard pack on one side of the chassis and the electronics on the other side. Additionally, the battery is placed close to the centerline of the chassis to improve weight balance. With the battery being placed close to the center, the top plate has been made just for this chassis with cut outs for battery plugs.
