Maintenance is something we all neglect once in a while. But if you want to keep your glo igniter working at its best you need to clean it once in a while. Oils from a nitro engine will eventually coat the tip of the igniter, causing dirt and grime to adhere to it. When there is too much build-up the connection is poor and can make it difficult to heat the plug. Clean it frequently with a cloth and a grease cutting solution, such as a nitro cleaner or denatured alcohol.
