Off-road buggies have always been a popular pick for an RC vehicle and
ARRMA took this style of vehicle to the next level with their exciting
Raider Buggy MEGA. The Raider you see here is the latest version of the buggy with plenty of great features for those looking to get into the hobby with a great all purpose vehicle. The first thing that shocked us about this machine is its price tag, just $160 for almost everything you need except for AA batteries. The next features that caught our eye were its water proof electronics, 15-turn motor and LiPo compatible speed control. This kit comes with a NiMh pack to get you going, which gives the buggy some good throttle punch right out of the box, but with the ability to easily upgrade to a LiPo it really pours on the power. The Raider has oil filled shocks, tough suspension arms, steel drive shafts, a slipper clutch and a strong pod-like chassis that allows you to access the battery for the bottom. Topping off the buggy is a cool futuristic buggy body with wild graphics and an aggressive wing. Laying down the traction is a full set of dBoots medium compound rubber tires.
