It’s important to keep your nitro engine’s temps in check. A simple, inexpensive way to do that is with a thermal strip temp gauge. This type is used in motocross. Simply place the strip on your engine’s head and wait for the reading. They are available in several ranges, including 138-248 degrees which is appropriate for most nitro RC applications.
