The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp RTR is an excellent way for people to quickly get started in the off-road trail driving and rock crawling scenes. A single speed transmission equipped with a full set of ball bearings and all metal internal gears is strong and built for durability. Oil filled threaded body shocks support the solid axles while a Dynamite 35-turn 540 brushed motor paired with a Spektrum 40amp waterproof brushed ESC powers this rig. Providing the control is a Spektrum SLT3 3-channel SLT radio with a SR315 DSMR 3-channel receiver and a Spektrum S614 15kg steel gear waterproof servo that handles the steering duties. You will also find that the RTR Base Camp is equipped with licensed components including Black Rhino one-piece wheels and Falken Wildpeak R35 compound 4.7-inch tall tires that give it scale good looks not to mention great off-road performance.

The 1966 Chevrolet C-10 is an officially licensed body that comes in two separate pieces: the front cab section and the rear bed. When closely looking at the photos of the Chevy C-10 body, you can see that Pro-Line took its time and carefully sculpted it with realistic undercut detail that is only made possible with Pro-Line’s molding technology. Without that technology, the C-10 would not have all of its stunning detail. Along with the two molded body parts, a detail sticker sheet, window mask and overspray film is included.

The stock Base Camp body is relatively realistic looking and large which can hinder its crawling prowess. To address this, Pro-Line developed the Cliffhanger body specifically for 12.3” wheelbase Class 2 and Class 3 vehicles. The Pro-Line Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon was an easy pick thanks to its licensed scale great looks with high clearance fenders. When you first take the body out of the packaging you will find window masks and overspray film to aid in the finishing process as well as a detailed decal sheet. The body is modeled after the JL and it features an all-new rear taillight and tailgate design, bigger windows for better visibility, higher clearance fenders to allow for bigger tires and new hood details.
