Here is a new brand to the channel, Maverick. Maverick is a division of HPI Racing and is more of a sport level brand, but with HPI overseeing the large vehicle offering, you know the standards these cars have to meet are high. We received the Maverick Strada DT to review and we have to start off by saying we know DT stands for Desert Truck, but come on, look at this thing. Open wheels, a spoiler, simple roof plate, narrow body, pointed hood; it more closely resembles a buggy. So in this review we’ll call it a buggy. But even with it’s identity crisis, it still boasts some neat features, some quality materials and back it up with a fun RC experience too. Oh and in comparison to some other 4WD ready to run machines, it’s pretty cheap too. Could the Strada DT deliver the RC action you’re looking for?
