Doug likes the look of a narrow monster truck tire but the tires he had on hand were wide. Using a cutoff wheel chucked into his drill press he was able to cut the outer bead off and glue the tire on the inside of the remaining bead. Set the height of the wheel to just above the inner bead as shown. Slowly rotate the wheel while applying gentle pressure against the cutoff wheel. Do not try to cut all the way through in a single pass. Two or three passes will produce a cleaner cut. The cut surface can then be cleaned up with sandpaper.
