Spare plastic shock-preload clips tend to vanish without leaving a forwarding address. Measure your shock body’s outside diameter, and buy rubber tubing that has an inside diameter that’s close to the size of the shock body. Cut several sections in different sizes according to how much preload you need, and slide the sections onto the shock body above the upper spring retainer.
