Short course trucks are an incredibly fun class to race. They look and have characteristics that mimic full-size race trucks. For instance, watching the suspension soak up the rough terrain as the truck tears around the track and seeing the tires drop away from the body as it airs out over jumps. Short course trucks are also less likely to get hung up with each other since they run full fender bodies that cover the tires. One thing that will take a beating are the bodies which will need to be replaced from time to time. Axis clear body— #PRO355900
The Pro-Line Axis body along with the rest of the short course bodies highlighted here are purpose made for racing. Pro-Line gave the Axis a clean-sheet design that is not only functional but has a fresh look for the SC racing class. It has a low center of gravity which allows you to drive more aggressively and be faster through both low-speed and high speed corners. This makes it ideal for high-bite carpet or indoor clay tracks.
You will notice the Axis features large fender flairs to give maximum tire clearance so that you can have the body lowered as much as possible onto the chassis. Pro-Line also gave this body a low slung design with cool aggressive lines. At the rear you will find large cutouts so that air can escape from under the body and it reduces the overall weight. The body comes clear and includes window masks, a detail sticker sheet and overspray film.

Flo-Tek clear body — #PRO335500
If you never heard of the Flo-Tek term coined by Pro-Line, here is the skinny. Flo-Tek bodies are specifically designed to vastly reduce the short course body parachute effect. If you have ever driven a standard short course truck, then you have experienced that whenever you send it over jumps the truck can get out of shape, slowed down and get out of control and crash because the body traps air under it. The Pro-Line Flo-Tek body pictured here is equipped with large vent holes that allow air to easily flow through the body and eliminate drag. The locations and size of the vents were designed to maximize air flow while keeping an aggressive and high-tech look.
The futuristic styling of the Pro-Line Flo-Tek body makes it stand out from other SC bodies and the vent holes don’t ruin its overall appearance. Pro-Line sells this body clear and inside the bag contains number and side dam plates that bolt onto the body with the included aluminum hardware. Also included are window masks, a decal sheet and overspray film.

Pre-Cut Flo-Tek Fusion clear body — #PRO345817
Next up is the Pro-Line Pre-Cut Flo-Tek Fusion race body. This is what you get when you combine the best features from the most successful short course body of all-time with the most aerodynamically advanced race body ever conceived. Large vent holes are found in the front, middle and rear to drastically reduce the parachuting effect. Pro-Line wisely kept the prominent fender flares and front grill that made the original Flo-Tek body so popular. If you recall the Pro-Line EVO body, you can see that it was the inspiration for the rear of this Flo-Tek Fusion body. It has large openings and ideal body mounting positions that will allow this body to be used with a wide variety of the short course trucks on the market.
Among the key features on the Flo-Tek Fusion body are the roof vents to aid when jumping your SC truck and the kick-ups on the roof and rear fenders which will help keep you sucked down onto the surface thus making it easier to drive your ride. Pro-Line brings the body to you clear, but it is already trimmed and the most important vent holes have been cut out for you. Painted the body is a breeze thanks to the included overspray film and window masks. To finish it off, a nice decal sheet comes with the body.

Pre-Cut Flo-Tek Fusion Tough-Color black body — #PRO345818
Now if you want to hit the track even quicker and you don’t care what color your SC truck is, then you have to check out the Pro-Line Pre-Cut Flo-Tek Fusion Tough Color black body. This is the same body as the one mentioned above with the main difference is the material that the body is molded from. This means you still benefit from all the Flo-Tek features and style cues. Pro-Line uses a completely black polycarbonate material named Tough-Color polycarbonate which gives you the peace of mind that you will never have to worry about paint peeling or chipping off.
All you need to do to get the body ready for race action is to place the Fusion wrap decals that are already precut for you and make the body post holes. The decals feature Blue Wrap speed lines to make your Flo-Tek Fusion body truly your own. And since the windows are black, Pro-Line gives you realistic looking window stickers complete with faux window net and roll-bars.

Pre-Cut Monster Fusion clear body — #PRO349817
The last of the Pro-Line short course race body options is a bit different than the rest. Pro-Line purpose-built the Monster Fusion body so that you could run your short course truck with 2.8” monster truck tires. The giant fender flares will cover MT tires like the Pro-Line 2.8” Trenchers or Badlands MX2.8” tires without rubbing and or ripping up the body. Pro-Line gave the Monster Fusion a deserved ultra-tough appearance and even incorporated large vents to prevent high speed blow overs and reduce the parachute effect.
Once you come up with your desired paint scheme, the Monster Fusion body that is molded in crystal clear, genuine polycarbonate is the ideal material to make it looks as good as possible. To ensure the body ends up looking its best, Pro-Line gives you window masks and overspray film to keep the outside of the body protected while you lay down the paint. The finishing touch is to place the included decals and then mount it on the chassis.
