Today, PROTOform released its new PROTOform Speed3 190mm FWD touring car body designed to be the aerodynamic solution for high competition 1/10-scale front-wheel-drive electric touring car racing.
OVERVIEW
The PROTOform body takes styling cues from popular Japanese hot hatches competing in full-scale TCR classes around the globe, featuring aggressive fender flares and a slammed hatchback roofline.
The Speed3 also features the easiest mounting of any PROTOform body yet. Returning are PROTOform’s signature Mounting Marks inside the front wheel arches, allowing you to choose your body positions in 2mm increments up to +8mm. In addition, are sets of markings on the hood and rear bumper to easily line up your body posts no matter what you prefer.
This body is designed to meet the new FWD Global Body Spec rules and is fully approved for EFRA competition (#5004). It’s made in the USA from high-quality, super-durable 0.7mm polycarbonate. Included with the Speed3 are PROTOform’s convenient plastic wing buttons and under-wing “nuts”, with M3 mounting screws. A stylish decal sheet, window masks, and overspray film complete the package.
