ARRMA’s 1:7 scale on-road beast, the Felony, packs a serious punch and is a lot of fun with its 6S brushless powertrain. The RC body, while certainly cool looking, is an unlicensed mix of first gen Camaro and third gen Nova (personal opinion). Some purists who love a licensed RC body just aren’t happy with it. That said, there aren’t a lot of bodies for this big brute and its large and in charge scale. One company that is trying to change all that is PROTOform. The PROTOform folks already offer the wicked cool C8 Corvette RC body for GM enthusiasts and have now dropped some Blue Oval love with the 2021 Ford Mustang GT RC body for the ARRMA Felony as well.
The RC body is manufactured from durable 1.5mm clear polycarbonate with “paint then peel” overspray film. The Mustang GT body is the spitting image of the real 1:1 scale car with the addition of some mild custom tuner car inspired touches. We like the aggressive front splitter design, wider rear hips/wheel flares to cover the Felony’s massive tires, and the optional (though we say mandatory on looks alone) rear wing. Officially licensed by Ford Motor Company and made in the USA, you know you’re getting a great product that will completely change the look of your ARRMA Felony.
