RC Driver Today Blog 9/26/2018 – Pro-Line PRO-MT 4×4 Upgrades

Today in the RC Driver Workshop, we’re working on our Pro-Line Racing Pro MT 4×4 project. This is part of our Youtube video build series on the popular basher truck where we’re installing aftermarket parts from Pro-Line and then we’re going to give the truck away  to one lucky winner.

For this part of the build we’re installing Pro-Lines option upgrade Spur Gear (Part 6318-02) and the Aluminum Servo Saver Upgrade (Part 6318-03.) Both of these parts boost the durability of the truck and are probably the two parts we reccomend the most if you are looking to add upgrades to your Pro MT 4×4.

Basic hobby tools are needed to install these parts. Some hex drivers like a 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5mm hex driver, a 17mm wheel hex wrench and maybe some long nose pliers. We’re also going to swap out the oil in the center diff for a heavier 500,000wt oil for better power distribution and performance. The cup and paper towel are there for old oil clean-up and the blue threadlock will be used on the servo saver nut.

Well, it’s time to get to work. Here’s the truck prior to the above listed mods. If you look at the truck closely you can see the aluminum shock caps and shock posts we put on in our prior build. Make sure you subscibe to our Youtube channel HERE to see all of the videos on the Pro-Line Racing Pro-MT 4×4.
