The Tamiya CC-01 chassis is very scale in its appearance and performs sufficiently. You can improve its off-road capability by adding this Stroke Extension Link which gives the rear of the truck more suspension travel. Tamiya includes all of the hardware required for the install.

Plastic bodied oil-filled shocks come with the CC-01 chassis and this helps keep the cost of the kit down. You can upgrade the shocks with these expertly machined aluminum dampers from Tamiya which are easy to assemble and offer silky smooth suspension travel, not to mention that they look incredible. This set gives you enough for the entire truck and even includes shock oil.

Make the drivetrain more efficient by swapping out the stock steel doggone and joint cup shaft on the front end with these Tamiya universal shafts. They will allow the drivetrain to spin more smoothly and there is less power loss to the drive wheels. Instructions are included for assembly along with the required grease.
