Team Associated’s RC10B6 has been developed specifically for alternative surfaces such as turf and carpet and with track rapidly changing to the new surface, the B6 has quickly become the choice vehicle for many racers. The B6 has some subtle differences from its close brother the B6D. It has a lay down transmission, different front arms and front shock tower. UPGRADE #1
Brass Bulkhead – There is gobs of traction of turf and carpet and because of that the rear bite is insane. That bite on acceleration makes the front of the Team Associated B6 feel a bit light under acceleration or when powering over jumps. To help give the B6 a solid planted feel, you’re going to want to purchase some of the weighted option parts from Team Associated’s Factory Team line. The part we found that makes the biggest difference right from the start is the Brass Bulkhead. The handling difference is noticeable and we think you’ll have an easier time driving your B6 with this upgrade in place.

Extreme Carbon Fiber B6 Battery Strap- The stock Team Associated B6 battery strap no doubt works. But after a while, cranking down on the nuts that secure it can start to warp the plastic. It is also often difficult to see the battery terminal ID’s so there is a risk to plugging in your ESC backwards. Make battery life a little easier in your B6 with the Schelle Carbon Fiber Battery Strap. The strap is light weight, adjustable and allows you to see the ID makers on most batteries. This strap can be used with the Schelle Chassis Rod Set.

Direct Spur Gear Hub – If you plan on racing in the stock class, you probably want to plan on picking up the Exotek Direct Spur Gear Hub. TEAM ASSOCIATED B6 UPGRADE WRAP UP
The Team Associated B6 is an awesome buggy and we’ve had a lot luck with it in box stock form making the A-main weekly. But once we installed the hop-ups shown we had a noticeable performance gain.
