Sure we love building projects at RC Driver, but usually projects are built during spare time and because we just feel like it. But there are those project that come about with purpose and fall within a certain schedule and the project build you are about to see was one of those must complete projects. What we have here is our RC4WD based Chevrolet Blazer Tremors Truck build that we assembled to enter in the 2017 East Coast Scale Challenge. Just two weeks before the event, this truck didn’t exist other than a thought after just a Google Search for movie or TV appearances of a Blazer. Once all the parts arrived for the build, it was time to thrash together the truck for the rapidly approaching event. Sure we could have just bolted on parts, but where’s the fun in that? We took the stressful route of chopping up a brand new RC4WD Blazer body, custom making a roll cage and bumper and painting up the truck AND chassis too! This was another wild and crazy build and the end result was a cool Tremors Chevy Blazer truck used in the Tremors TV series. It looks good in action too, see for yourself in our detailed video!
