After an “off-season” from racing that was full of rumors, perhaps one of the most talked about was that of Ty Tessmann. Tessmann announced his departure from HB Racing less than a month ago, and now puts the rumors to rest with XRAY’s official announcement. XRAY is happy to officially announce that the IFMAR World champion and ROAR National Champion, Ty Tessmann, joins the XRAY factory team to race the 1/8 and 1/10 offroad classes for 2017. Ty will be racing in 2017 season with his XRAY cars at all major off-road races in United States and Canada.
Ty says, “I am very excited to be joining the XRAY/RC America Team. Their drive for perfection in every aspect of the company, from the design and build of their cars to the presentation of their products, will perfectly compliment my current race program. I look forward to working closely with Martin Bayer on development of the off-road platforms to adapt them to North American tracks. I hope to be able to help grow and promote the brand worldwide with a focus on North America.
